Limited Edition Prints:
These prints are a select series of images carefully chosen by David. Limited Edition prints are highly collectible and offer the collector an opportunity to purchase one of David’s images that will only have a small number of prints ever created. Thus the value of these images will increase as supply becomes fewer. Each Limited Edition Print, is limited to only 25 pieces to ever be produced for sale as a print! These images are offered in select larger sizing and come with a Certificate of Authenticity and each print is hand-signed and numbered by the artist.
Open Edition Prints:
All open edition prints will have limited runs of prints available in many various sizes. These prints will also be hand-signed and numbered by the artists and include a Certificate of Authenticity.
The Print Technique:
All prints by David Scott Mckay are created on Fujiflex Crystal Archive Photographic silver halide paper with up to 610dpi resolution, for high-precision clarity that’s as close to “perfect” as print gets. Prints are then mounted to aluminum for a sleek, thin profile, and a flawless presentation. Prior to signing, David inspects each image personally before shipping to the collector.
On your Wall:
All pieces come ready to install easily directly on your wall with a choice of an inset metal frame allowing the image to “freely” hang on the wall and “float” with no exterior frame showing. For any print size 36″ or less, a slim float frame in either black or pewter is an option and is available at an additional charge.
Sizing of Prints:
David’s work is offered in a variety of Fine-Art Wall sizing. In order for a piece to have the impact David feels it needs, he prefers his work to be a minimum size of 20’’ on the long side with sizing ranging to 90” on some pieces. All images are sized with the long side, either horizontal or vertical, as the main dimension. Based on the image and the crop, the other dimension sides will vary.
